The cycle path that connects Calalzo di Cadore to Passo Cimabanche is known as the \"Lunga Via delle Dolomiti\" (Long Dolomites Route). The route mostly follows the ancient railway and, in part, the ancient royal road between San Vito di Cadore and Cortina d'Ampezzo. From Cimabanche, you can continue downhill to Dobbiaco. This itinerary crosses the provinces of Belluno and Bolzano and offers breathtaking views of the majestic Dolomite peaks, including Pelmo, Cinque Torri, Tofane, and the iconic Tre Cime di Lavaredo. Along the way, you also pass through the Dolomiti d'Ampezzo Natural Park.<\/p>\n

The starting point of the \"Lunga Via delle Dolomiti\" cycle path is the Calalzo di Cadore railway station, accessible by trains with bike transportation from Venice or Padua.<\/p>\n

From Cortina, the paved road quickly turns into a dirt path. You pass through a wooded area and pass by the Fiames station, overlooked by Punta Fiames, before reaching Passo di Cimabanche, marking the border between Veneto and Alto Adige.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n
